HEALTH SERVICES

Women's Health Nutrition

Navigating the numerous transitions we experience as women can be overwhelming. From puberty through menopause, our bodies undergo significant changes, and proper nutrition can provide the essential support we need to thrive. Schedule a women's health nutrition visit to learn how to best support your body and optimize your well-being at each stage of life.

Lactation Counseling

Finding a comfortable feeding routine can take time and practice. Working with a lactation consultant can help you achieve your individual breastfeeding goals through professional guidance and focused support. In-home and virtual lactation visits available.

Infant and Pediatric Nutrition
Gestational Diabetes Management

Early life is a time of exceptional growth and development, yet most pediatric healthcare visits do not include in-depth nutrition counseling. Working with an experienced nutrition expert early on can help your child grow into a healthy and happy eater.

Entering a pregnancy with diabetes or developing diabetes during your pregnancy can be stressful. The good news is that lifestyle modification can have a tremendously positive effect on pregnancy outcomes. The skills you learn now will extend beyond your pregnancy, setting the stage for a healthy family long term.

For over 10 years, I have focused my professional education and practice on women’s health and early life/pediatric nutrition. I began my professional career as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and shortly after expanded my studies to become a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). I have worked in clinical settings and patients’ homes, and expanded my services during the pandemic through virtual visits.

As a woman and now a mother, I have experienced firsthand the benefits of lifestyle changes, particularly in nutrition, on my vitality and my child’s growth and development. After years of unexplained discomfort, I was diagnosed with and treated for endometriosis. My journey into motherhood came after my diagnosis and included severe complications, including a traumatic birth and resulting difficulty with breastfeeding.

These challenging experiences had a lasting impact on my work with families, helping me grow as a practitioner. While seeking a diagnosis, I realized the importance of trusting your instincts and advocating for yourself. The practitioners who supported me best took the time to listen and validate my experiences. Whether you come to me for yourself or your child, I will provide support with sensitivity and empathy.

My practice is centered around women, infants, and children because I am incredibly passionate about the importance of nutrition during these transformative times. I look forward to supporting you and your family as you navigate the various stages of life.
